About the XP:

 

We took part in a competition set by UNESCO MGIEP. We had to develop a game concept on the theme peace and sustainability. They had many sub themes that we could implement. We made a GDD, ADD, Production Plan and a Budget Plan for the concept. We took nearly a month to complete it.

 

After that we were selected for the next stage. Only 5 concepts out of nearly 400 were selected. We were given seminars and some guidelines to iterate upon. Unfortunately our game was not selected for the next stage.

 

It was a great experience and we learnt a lot from it.
 

What I did:

. Formalized the GDD

. Used yEd to make various flowcharts

. Discussed the concept and iterated      it based on constructive feedback

 

Project Manager:

 

Allotted tasks and saw to it that they     were completed timely

Marketing strategy

. Estimated budget allocation for one     year

. Drafted production plan for 1 year

 

About the Concept:

 

The game has been shelved as it was not selected in the final stage. All details are held by the members as confidential. Although maybe someday the game will see the daylight again under a different name and several iterations.
