I am Udain Tomar, a 28 year old level designer from India.
I have 7+ years of experience in the video games industry. I love collaborating to create levels that immerse the players to be in the moment. I try to create memorable spaces by infusing the mechanics and the emotional beats of the game. I think of player affordance as the key driving force as I transform systems and layouts from paper to interactive spaces for the players.
I am currently working on an unannounced AAA RPG game as a lead level designer for PC and next gen consoles. We have some exciting plans for the future.
Earlier on, I worked on Sackboy: A Big Adventure, it was a great experience from which I learnt a lot. Do check it out, I hope you like it. We won in the Family and British Game categories! We were nominated for British, Family, Multiplayer and Music in 2021 BAFTA Games Awards.
I am interested in level design, architecture, and photography. I try to fuse these to get great compositions in believable and fun interactive spaces.

RSIS Kenya, December 2009
I went to Kenya as an assistant mason and assistant chef in December 2009 for constructing a library for the underprivileged kids of Ilbissil Girls Primary School, Kajiado. We also donated 1000+ books after the successful completion of the library.
This project was competed under the Round Square International Service, Kenya.
